| Under what circumstances will MSC Malaysia status be withdrawn from a company? |
If they are unable to relocate to an MSC Malaysia-designated cybercity within the given timeframe
If the company wishes to surrender the status due to inability to proceed with MSC Malaysia activities
If the company is bought over / merges with another company and MSC Malaysia activities defer from that stated in the business plan. |

| What are the rights or remedies of a company if MSC Malaysia status is revoked |
| Upon revocation of the granting of MSC Malaysia status as stated above, all benefits, incentives and privileges granted by MDeC or the relevant government authorities shall be withdrawn. Then MSC Malaysia-status company can appeal to MDeC for its revoked or withdrawn status. |

| What are the conditions / procedures to be followed before MSC Malaysia status can be withdrawn? |
Showcause letters 1 & 2 sent and inability of company to show cause by the stated deadline
Present case to the IAC to get recommendation
If IAC decides to revoke status, send letter of revocation to MSC Malaysia company and letters to inform Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) Ministry of Finance (MOF)
Surrender MSC Malaysia-status certificate of company to MDeC. |
