Enhancing Skills, Globalizing Talent
K-workers Development Initiatives (KDI) aims to facilitate the current and future demands of industry-relevant talent by the local ICT industry, especially by MSC Malaysia status companies. Towards this end, KDI offers various programmes encompassing career awareness, skills training, industry attachments, curriculum alignment at Institutions of Higher Learning (IHLs) as well as demand-supply projection. In executing its programme, KDI works closely with relevant ministries and agencies to ensure sustainable, effective and successful implementation.

Digital Malaysia is a unique programme based on three strategic thrusts. It will create an ecosystem that promotes the pervasive use of ICT in all aspects of the economy to connect communities globally and interact in real time resulting in increased Gross National Income, enhanced productivity and improved standards of living. This will result in a developed digital economy that connects and empowers government, businesses and citizens.
The Digital Malaysia programme’s three strategic thrusts will leverage on new and existing initiatives to drive Malaysia towards a digital economy.

The Multimedia Development Corporation is a unique organization established to direct and oversee MSC Malaysia, the national ICT development initiative, by advising the Malaysian Government on legislation and policies, developing industry-specific practices and setting the standards for multimedia and digital operations. MDeC is also responsible for promoting MSC Malaysia locally and globally, whilst providing strategic support to MSC Malaysia Status Companies.
