MSC Malaysia Awards & Accolades
Malaysia continues to be favourably viewed at the international level in various business categories, including global outsourcing services and global competitiveness.

The awards we have garnered include:
Third placing in the AT Kearney Global Services Location Index for 2005, 2006, and 2007

Malaysia has seen significant declines in telecom costs, while slower growth rates have moderated wage inflation. At the same time, it has, with the other ASEAN countries, significantly improved quality indicators, increasing the number of CMM-certified firms in the region from 100 in 2005 to over 150 in 2006 and the number of ISO 27001-certified firms from 0 in 2005 to 45 in 2006.

The Growth Competitiveness Index's main goal is to analyze the potential for the world's economies to attain sustained economic growth over the medium and long term. The index is based on economists' current understanding of the determinants of the complex process of economic growth and development. It summarizes the set of institutions, policies, and structures driving the growth process of 102 heterogeneous countries.
The GCI is founded on three central ideas:

1) the macroeconomic environment
2) the soundness of the public institutions in a country
3) technological progress
