| MSC Malaysia Cybercities and Cybercentres, in essence, exist to house the MSC Malaysia-Status companies, serving as a physical location and a centre to help nurture and support the growth of ICT and ICT-enabled industries and extending its benefits to the local community |

MSC Malaysia Cybercity and Cybercentre implement the proven concept of industry clustering, which is locating similar technology companies within the same geographical area i.e. Silicon Valley (USA) or Penang (Mal), to fuel economic growth, by raising the level of innovation, development and competencies, both on a regional and national level.
This concept help creates a positive environment of inter-networking and collaboration among the companies involved. It also helps optimises and rationalises the high cost of infrastructure invested to create this environment, which in turn also help serve as a test-bed for many new ICT technology and products. |
