  To equip K-workers with the relevant training for available positions such as Java Application Developers, Animators, Server Administrators, etc.

  JC provides free training to available k-workers (currently unemployed, in-between jobs, changing fields, retrenched) to develop skill sets required to meet existing vacancies in MSC Malaysia.

Opportunities Created through the MSC Malaysia Skills training and Enhancement Programme

• MSC Malaysia status companies can:
  • have the opportunity to select, train and develop fresh graduates.
  • fulfil immediate human capital needs.
  • reimburse up to RM1,000* per month per fresh graduate trained.


• Fresh graduates can:
  • get access to on-the-job training (non-employment basis) .
  • expect to be paid an allowance of no less than RM1,000 per month.

• Duration:
  up to 12 months 
• Reimbursement amount :
  RM500 per month for up to 12 months or RM1,000* per month for up to 6 months (*in accordance to company training structure proposal)
• No. of trainees per company:
  A maximum of 25 trainees per company per year (subject to fund availability and KDI approval)
• Reporting:
  Companies are required to submit basic progress reports during the 6 months.

  • All companies must have obtained MSC Malaysia status.
  • Have a formal or structured in-house management trainee programme in place
• For fresh graduates
  • Must be a Malaysian citizen.
  • Must have a minimum of a Diploma, from all fields of study with priority given to ICT-related study.
  • Must have graduated within 12 months from date of graduation

  Undergraduates during their industrial attachment; preferably during the final year.


• Objective:
  - To equip undergraduates with high level skill sets required by MSC Malaysia
  - To enhance the employability of fresh graduates.
  - To prepare a talent pool of industry relevant graduates for MSC Malaysia companies and potential investors


• Key Benefits:
  UGRAD provides opportunities for undergraduates to gain relevant industry skill sets during the industrial attachment period. This will enhance the talent pool for MSC Malaysia while improving their employability upon graduation and reduce unemployment.

Opportunities Created through the MSC Malaysia Undergraduate Apprenticeship and Development Programme

• Undergraduates can:
  • Enhance employability in today's competitive job market by having additional industry relevant training embedded in their curriculum during the internship.
  • Be exposed to relevant development tools and techniques used by practitioners within MSC Malaysia.
  • Have the opportunity to acquire industry relevant experience.


• Participating MSC Malaysia status companies can:
  • Reduce initial training cost (up to RM3,000 reimbursement).
  • Gain access to a ready pool of young talents
  • Have priority to hire the trainees that have completed the programme.

• Duration:
  Maximum of 6 months (9am-5pm on a daily basis from Monday to Friday)
• When:
  During internship period.
• Location:
  At participating companies.
• Food, accommodation & transport cost:
  To be borne by undergraduates.
