MSC Malaysia has forged and strengthened partnerships since 2007 with various leading Multi-National Corporations (MNC) Companies , that are at the forefront of today's ICT industry.

Since March 2007, MSC Malaysia has inaugurated the "MSC Malaysia Software Initiative" with the specific aim that MSC Malaysia (specifically MDeC) would help Malaysia ICT Companies accelerate and deliver quality products and services.

By forging relationships with leading MNC Companies such as Microsoft and IBM, MSC Malaysia has taken the objective to further address growth and quality of companies, people (skills) and products (solutions), as well as stimulate avenues to develop more innovation to the local ICT ecosystem and drive local ICT economy.
Various programmes and initiatives has been instituted through these partnerships and has helped stimulate the objectives sought out by MSC Malaysia regarding the partnership programmes.
